Step One: Fitting the brackets
Your blind will come with two bracket options – face fix and top/ceiling fix brackets. Choose where you want to fix your brackets - face mount onto a wall/ window frame or top mount the blind onto the ceiling/ underside of a recess.

Fix brackets to ceiling or lintel with holes drilled on a line at least 80mm from the wall or window frame for blinds with 127mm louvres or 60mm for blinds with 89mm louvres.
Fix brackets to wall or window frame as closely as possible to the ceiling or lintel with same spacing as recommended for the top fixing brackets.
Leaving enough space behind the rail will ensure that the louvres rotate freely without touching the wall or window behind.
Ensure that brackets are positioned a suitable distance away from any window, door handles or any other obstructions to allow the blind to operate smoothly.
If a pilot hole is required, use a 2.5mm drill bit. For fixing to alternative surfaces i.e. plaster/ concrete, alternative suitable fixings should be used.
